Come to ShoWare Center in Kent, October 19 – 21 for the 2012 Hilton HHonors Skate America! See some of the world’s best figure skaters compete, and cheer on Team USA!
Kent’s Mayor Suzette Cooks says in a statement, “Skate America will feature three days of competition with 52 world-class figure skaters in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dancing. Attending will be the four reigning US Champions plus the biggest names from around the world including: Ashley Wagner, Jeremy Abbott, pairs skaters Caydee Denney and John Coughlin, and ice dancing pair Meryl Davis and Charlie White.”
International competitors will include the 2012 World silver medalist Alena Leonova of Russia, and her teammates Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, the 2012 World pairs silver medalists. Reigning Skate America champion Michal Brezina of the Czech Republic will defend his title against a field that includes Japan’s Yuzuru Hanyu, the 2012 World bronze medalist.
NBC will broadcast LIVE coverage of Skate America from 4:00pm – 6:00pm (ET) on Sunday, October 21.
Ticket packages start at $75/person gives you access to the entire event, from start to finish. Your ticket includes admission to all competition events, official practices and the Skating Spectacular.
Single event tickets start at $15/adults, $10/kids under age 10. Here is the schedule of the weekend’s events:
