First Lady Visits Seattle; Heads to Denver

SEATTLE (AP) — Michelle Obama has visited Seattle to help raise money for the president’s re-election campaign.

She arrived early Tuesday evening at Boeing Field and was taken by motorcade to a reception at the Seattle Westin.

On Wednesday night, the Obamas will mark their 20th wedding anniversary with the president’s first debate with Republican rival Mitt Romney.

Mrs. Obama plans to be in the audience in Denver during the debate.

The president says he and his wife have planned a belated anniversary celebration on Saturday.
