The kids have had their fill, and there’s still lots of candy left over! What do you do? Here are a couple of sweet places where you can donate your extra treats.

Operation Gratitude is a 501{c}{3} sending care packages to US military serving overseas. You can donate your leftover Halloween candy to help fill care packages for the fall. Check out the website for the California based non-profit organization HERE.

Greenlake Kids Dentistry is offering $1 per pound of candy (kids 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, up to 10 lbs. per person) and will put the extra Halloween candy to good use by sending it to US troops overseas through Operation Gratitude (www.operationgratitude.org). Plus, Gymboree Magnuson will be on-site helping kids make cards for the troops to go along with the candy donations! Nov. 1st from 5-7pm. Our community can make a difference!

It’s the annual “Halloween Buyback Event” at Seattle Kids Dentistry. Bring in your unwanted Halloween candy and you’ll receive $1 per pound, with a 10 pound limit. Participants must be 10 years old or younger and must have an accompanying parent. The candy will be donated to “Operation Gratitude” which is a wonderful organization that sends holiday care packages to soldiers.
