JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — A series of retweets sent from Gov. Sean Parnell’s Twitter feed Thursday night, making reference to Vice President Joe Biden laughing and smiling during a debate, have been taken down.

Parnell spokeswoman Sharon Leighow says a social media administrator in the governor’s office thought he was logged onto his personal account when he was actually logged onto Parnell’s accounts.

She says the tweets were deleted when he realized the mistake.

The messages that went out were all retweets, comments made by others centered on Biden’s mannerisms in his debate Thursday night with GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.
