Suspect In Deadly Belltown Stabbing Being Held On $1M Bail

SEATTLE (AP) — Bail has been set at $1 million for a man arrested in Friday’s fatal stabbing outside a nightclub in Seattle’s Belltown area.

Bail was set Tuesday for a 22-year-old man arrested Monday.

King County prosecutors face a Thursday deadline to file charges.

Detectives are looking for three other men accused in the attack that killed 21-year-old Faustino Cervantes.

Court papers indicate the victim got into a fight with the suspect outside a bar, then they separated and went in different directions. Police say the victim was driving out of a parking lot when a vehicle carrying the suspect and several friends blocked the way. Witnesses report the suspect got out and banged on the victim’s vehicle, damaging it, until the victim opened the driver’s side door and was stabbed.
