Join Davenport Cellars and other warehouse district wineries for this month’s Third Thursday Wine Walk. November’s event is, “Turkey Day Wines”. Coming to the event? Bring food or cash donations for Northwest Harvest. Although a great deal, 50 pound sacks of rice and flour are difficult to distribute, so please keep your donations to 1 or 2 meal size portions. Finish the day with a wine tasting featuring approximately 20 Washington wineries, each one located in a different shop throughout the village. Proceeds benefit the Northshore Performing Arts Foundation. Tickets are required for the wine tasting and can be purchased the day of, at the check-in booth, for $25. Each ticket includes 10 tastings. This is a “BYOG” (Bring your own glass) event. Must be 21 years of age for the wine tasting. ID required at the check-in tent when picking up your tickets. The Monroe Chamber hosts its annual holiday celebration. Wine and craft beer lovers will enjoy an assortment of local brews, wines and holiday snacks inside 12 businesses up and down Lewis and Main Streets. The Monroe Concert Band will provide evening entertainment with soloists and duets at various locations. Tickets for craft beer and wine tasting are $20/person with valid ID (21+) and can be purchased by calling 360.794.5488 or by walk-up on the event day. Children are welcome inside participating businesses where alcohol is served when accompanied by an adult. Proceeds benefit the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
