There’s no place like Seattle Children’s Theatre to be transported to the wondrous discoveries of the Emerald City and the characters of Oz. After a tornado sweeps Dorothy from her Kansas home, she encounters both wickedness and wonder, Wizard and Witch, Munchkin and Monkey. Dorothy and her newfound friends journey on a quest to find heart, courage, brains and most importantly, home.

The SCT performance runs through Sunday, January 6, 2013. The production is recommended for children ages 5+, at SCT’s sugggestion. Perilous escapes and scary characters might surprise younger children.

And, in honor of the production, Seattle’s Trophy Cupcakes will be offering up their special “yellow brick road” decorated treats for the show! Oz cupcakes will be available at concessions (on show dates) and in Trophy stores! You can find Trophy cupcakes at Wallingford Center, University Village, Pacific Place and The Shops at the Bravern, as well as at Seattle Children’s Theatre for the Oz shows!
