ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Anchorage police say they have broken up a family-run marijuana grow operation that also involved heroin smuggling.
Police in a release say four people have been arrested, including 56-year-old William Garret Patrick and his two sons, 25-year-old Jared Lloyd Jackson Patrick and 28-year-old John Jacob Patrick.
Another associate, 27-year-old Colt Allen Burdick, also has been arrested.
Police raided several trailers and home that belong to men on Tuesday. Police say they seized 239 marijuana plants, nearly $65,000 worth of heroin, about $135,000 in cash and three vehicles.
All four were expected to arraigned later Wednesday.
