Kids in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade will meet the many characters that come to life in the colorful and creative world of Mo Willems. From Knuffle Bunny to Leonardo the Terrible Monster, Willems’ quirky characters will be the focus of the week’s dramatic stories and art projects. Students in grades 3 – 5 will learn the fundamental techniques of stage acting and get a taste of improv. This week long training course is designed for boys, ages 14 – 18, who are preparing for 2013 high school soccer tryouts and season. Training sessions are designed to physically and mentally prepare players for their High School Season/Tryout by emphasizing: fitness within the game, sharpening technical skills, good decision making, and helping players stand out from the competition. Goalkeepers will receive intense instruction from a keeper coach and will be placed in game like shot stopping situations. The children will make pixie dust and shadows, there will be clock-ticking games, and watch out for Captain Hook so you don’t have to walk the plank! You can register your child for one or more days, and each day a different great artist will be featured. Friday is spent with the Van Gogh, Monday is Monet and Tuesday is Dr Seuss!
