SEATTLE (AP) — A Pacific storm is blowing into Washington Wednesday with gusty winds and rain in Western Washington and snow in the mountains.
Forecasters expect 6 to 18 inches of snow in the Cascades through Wednesday night, making driving difficult through the mountain passes.
The National Weather Service says Eastern Washington will have a greater chance of snow through Thursday.
By Friday, forecasters say high pressure will bring dry weather through the weekend across the state.
