(1090 The Fan) – Monday marked an important day in Gonzaga history: the first time ever the school was ranked number one in the AP rankings. However, the milestone will mean nothing if the Zags crumble in the NCAA Tournament.

Josh Benjamin of the Bleacher Report, offers up some key areas where the Bulldogs have to improve their play in order to remain a contender for the championship.

The first task must be doing a better job on the boards, according to Benjamin. He states that the Bulldogs, who are tied for 56th in the nation in total rebounds per game, have little to no production in that area outside of junior big man Kelly Olynyk and Elias Harris.
