(1090 The Fan) – Just a day after trading for Pro Bowl receiver Percy Harvin, the Seahawks made a big splash in the free agent market.
CBSSports.com’s Will Brinson reports Lions’ defensive end Cliff Avril has agreed to terms with Seattle.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tweeted the following:

The 26-year-old Avril has 29 sacks over his last three seasons along with nine forced fumbles and a “pick six.” He was a third-round pick out of Purdue in 2008.
