Pig Found Loose Adopted By Local Farm Sanctuary

BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — A pig found running loose in Beaverton has found a new home.

Washington County Animal Services call his new home at a Scio animal sanctuary “hog heaven.”

On Thursday, a resident called police when the pig was spotted, and corralled the pig in a yard.

Police arrived and held the pig. He was then taken to a local animal shelter and his story was featured on multiple local newscasts.

On Saturday, The Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary announced he had been adopted there.
