SEATTLE (AP) — A King County sheriff’s spokeswoman says detectives have made an arrest in a March 29 emailed bomb threat that warned of a “blood bath” at Kentwood High School in suburban Covington, south of Seattle.

School officials voluntarily sent students home for the day while officers searched the school. No explosive devices were found.

Sgt. Cindi West says the investigation led detectives to Kennewick, where they searched a house with a warrant last weekend with the help of Benton County sheriff’s officers. Two computers were seized as evidence.

A 19-year-old former Kentwood student was arrested, interviewed and released pending charges. His name was not released.
