Rivals On ‘Deadliest Catch’ Put Egos Aside For Seattle Children’s Hospital

(CBS Seattle) – Deadliest Catch skippers Sig Hansen (Captian of the Northwestern) and Keith Colburn (Captain of the Wizard) are anything but cordial to each other on their show — they’re competitors. This Friday, however, the two rivals will establish an alliance for a good cause.

On April 26, Hansen and Colburn will join forces on CW11’s Millionaire as a two-person team aiming to reel in a substantial amount of cash for Seattle Children’s Hospital.

“We compete for a living, so because of this game show, we’ve now bonded!” said Hansen. “This is only a momentary bonding though, trust me,” added Colburn.

The winnings that Hansen and Colburn take in will be donated to the hospital and goes straight towards its Uncompensated Care Fund, which helps families that need a little extra help with the cost of their child’s medical treatments. The Deadliest Catch duo is guaranteed to win at least $10,000.

Both men have strong local ties to the community in the Puget Sound region; Hansen is a Seattle-native and a graduate of Shorewood High School and Colburn’s hometown is Redmond.

Millionaire airs weekdays at 11:00 am on KSTW CW11.
