Kent Man, Stepson Charged With Illegal Gun Sales, Other Crimes
(CBS Seattle) — A Kent man and his stepson were arrested Friday in connection with illegal sales of guns and prescription drugs, KIRO TV reported.
The US Attorney’s Office said the two were indicted on seven criminal counts including illegally distributing prescription drugs and illegally selling firearms.
According to KIRO TV, 49-year-old Mark Bryant owns Westside Guns and East Valley Auto Rebuild on South 222nd Street in Kent.
Authorities say Bryant sold guns or drugs to people working with law enforcement on the property of his Kent gun shop. He’s also charged with selling a firearm to a drug user.
The indictment says Bryant’s stepson, 30-year-old Andrew Gagley also participated in gun and drug sales in and near the business. Gagley is charged with selling a firearm to a felon and illegal alien.
The two are expected in court Friday.
