Woman Assaulted In Seattle Park

SEATTLE (AP) — A woman who was walking through Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park at 4 a.m. Monday says she was sexually assaulted when she went to help a man who said he had been stabbed.

She got away when two men came by walking a dog.

Police searched the area and did not find the suspect. However, during the search they arrested another man who was carrying an air pistol, meat cleaver and sword. He was jailed for a weapons violation.
