Former TSA Worker Arrested On Bank Robbery Charge

GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) — Police in Gresham, Ore., have arrested a former Transportation Security Administration employee indicted in a March 12 bank robbery in the east Portland suburb.

Lt. Claudio Grandjean said 30-year-old Trevor Lee Schindler was arrested Tuesday at his home. The spokesman says several TSA employees identified Schindler as the man visible in surveillance video from the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank branch. It was not immediately known whether he had a lawyer.

A federal grand jury indicted Schindler last week on a bank robbery charge.

The Oregonian reports that court documents show more than $4,700 was taken in the robbery.

Grandjean says Schindler left his job with the TSA at Portland International Airport last November.
