Harang Jersey Winner Makes Change [Photo]
(1090 The Fan) - Tom Logan, who was awarded a one-of-a-kind Aaron Harang jersey from the Sandmeyer Show, was forced to make a change to his prized possession last Friday.
For those of you who aren’t hip to the Quality Start debacle, you’ll want to catch up by going here.
Anyway, after the Mariners’ 6-1 loss to the Yankees on Friday, you can understand why Logan had to alter the jersey:
Aaron Harang’s performance at Safeco Field on Friday was the polar opposite of his previous home start: remember that complete game shutout on Memorial Day? You know, the one that single-handedly made a local Padres fan begin seeing a psychiatrist? This time around, the right-hander lasted just 56 pitches after giving up six earned runs in two and a third innings. His ERA when he first stepped on the mound Friday was 5.82 — less than an hour later it was 6.70.
