(1090 The Fan) – It’s safe to say the Seahawks have a knack for digging up hidden talent.
Over the last few years, the team has been successful at finding players in late rounds and in other parts of the football world. So, Todd Pheifer of the Bleacher Report has compiled a list of five undrafted players to be on the lookout for in 2013 — one of them could very well be the next star to come out of nowhere.
The first person Pheifer looks at is linebacker John Lotulelei. The 5’11″, 233-pounder out of UNLV won’t win any races, but can certainly make a running back think twice about trying to run up the middle. Pheifer says of Lotulelei, “he is an instictive defender and he racked up 120 tackles in 2012.”
Pheifer also points out the team awarded Lotulelei with a $25,000 signing bonus, so there is definitely some interest in him.
