Ore. Man Accused Of Hiding Camera In Starbucks Bathroom

SHERWOOD, Ore. (AP) — Police in Sherwood say a 59-year-old man has surrendered to face charges of invasion of privacy for hiding a camera in a Starbucks bathroom.

An employee found the camera on May 1.

Sherwood police Capt. Ty Hanlon identified the man as Richard Eugene Ipsen of Tualatin. He surrendered Tuesday at the Washington County sheriff’s office.

Hanlon said information from the public led to him.

The Sherwood police said officers in Bend are investigating similar crimes in that city.
