Earlier this week a 70-year-old grandmother completed an around-the-world sailboat trip by herself, according to the Peninsula Daily News. She started and ended in Victoria, B.C. and became the oldest woman to sail solo, non-stop around the world. It’s a pretty impressive feat for anyone, but especially a 70-year-old. That got the digital team here at CBS Seattle thinking about the amazing stuff our own grandparents have done. So we went around the office and asked our coworkers. You’ll see the answers varied from sweet and simple to outright crazy. Tell us about the awesome stuff your grandparents have done in the comments section below.
