(CBS Seattle) — A 42-year-old woman has been hit and killed by a train in White Rock as she attempted to jog in front of it, according to the Vancouver Sun.
Though suicide has been ruled out by investigators, there is still no word on why the woman crossed the tracks in front of an oncoming train.
The woman’s husband was just steps away, but was not hurt, according to police.
The Sun says several witnesses ran over to the woman after she had been hit and frantically tried to resuscitate her with CPR.
The woman’s name has not been released.
