Seahawks Sign Jameson Konz, Release Victor Marshall

(1090 The Fan) — The Seattle Seahawks are being reunited with Jameson Konz, a tight end the team drafted in 2010.

Team officials announced Tuesday that Konz has signed with Seattle.

Konz spent the 2010 campaign on injured reserve due to a hip injury. In 2011, he was released during final roster cut downs but brought on to the practice squad. Konz was eventually signed to the active roster on October 4 and played in one game, seeing action on special teams before being placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

He was released on September 7, 2012.

The Seahawks also released tight end Victor Marshall on Tuesday.  Marshall signed with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent out of British Columbia on May 13, 2013.
