(CBS Seattle/AP) — Several hearings are being held this week on the proposed rules for the sale of recreational marijuana.
According to the Associate Press, hearings will be held in Seattle and Everett Tuesday, in Olympia and Ellensburg Wednesday and in Spokane Thursday. It’s part of the process of implementing I-502, which was approved last November.
The first pot stores could open next year. The Liquor Control Board is in charge of regulating growing, distribution and selling of marijuana in the stores. The Board is asking for public comment on the proposed rules.
