Cleveland Fans Sing ‘Detroit’s Bankrupt’ At Tigers Game

(1090 The Fan) — Any sports fan will tell you, smack-talking is part of the fun of a rivalry. Usually (hopefully) it’s all in good fun.

But Cleveland Indians fans may have gone a little too far Wednesday night when they started chanting “Detroit’s bankrupt,” playing off “Let’s go Tigers,” according to CBS Detroit. The chant can be heard in the 9th inning when the game was tied 4-4. The Tigers went on to beat the Indians 6-5 in 14 innings making it their 11th straight win and increasing their lead over the Indians to six games.

Check out the video, then vote in our poll. What do you think about the Indians fans’ chant?
