Oregon Couple Charged With Sex Acts On Plane
(CBS Seattle) — An Oregon couple is charged in federal court with several indecency charges after being accused of performing sex acts on each other on a plane, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Christopher Martin and Jessica Stroble are charged with lewd, indecent and obscene acts for incidents on an Allegiant Air flight from Medford to Las Vegas on June 21. Witnesses told investigators they saw the woman performing oral sex on the man, who was sitting in the window seat. Another witness told federal investigators the man was later seen with his hand down the woman’s pants. Passengers said the woman was seen performing oral sex on the man a second time.
Flight attendants approached the couple after passengers complained and the couple stopped. When the plane landed at McCarran International Airport, Martin and Stroble were escorted off the plane and questioned by police.
Christopher Martin is the son of Troon Vineyards owner Larry Martin. The winery issued a statement Monday on behalf of Christopher, saying the situation has been misrepresented by the press and apologizing for the negative attention.
The couple could spend up to 90 days in jail each and a $500 fine, if they are convicted.
