SEATTLE (AP) — A draft of the environmental impact study for a proposed NBA arena in Seattle was released Thursday.

There will now be a 45-day review period during which the public can comment on the study, including at two public meetings. The comment period will end Sept. 30.

The study reviewed five options: the proposed arena plan; no action at the proposed site; a smaller arena on the proposed site; a 20,000-seat arena where KeyArena currently sits; and a 20,000-seat arena at Memorial Stadium near KeyArena. There will be further review of impact and mitigation for all options before the final study is released.

Investor Chris Hansen has proposed a $490 million arena with $290 million in private investment in Seattle’s SoDo area in the hopes of bringing the NBA back.
