Bullet Grazes Man’s Head At Wedding After-Party
(CBS Seattle) — A suspected gunman was arrested after shooting at another man attending a wedding after-party over the weekend in Bellingham.
According to the Bellingham Herald, Serapio Santos-Garcia was having a drunken argument with another man about weight-lifting late Friday. Police say Santos-Garcia went to a Cadillac parked nearby, got a gun and shot at the victim. The bullet grazed the man’s head. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Santos-Garcia and two other people drove off in the Cadillac. The Herald reports that police caught up with Santos-Garcia in Ferndale several hours later and he was arrested. He’s being held in jail in lieu of $200,000 bail and is expected to be charged with first-degree assault in a drive-by shooting.
