Suspect Dies After Burglarizing Bikini Barista Stand

(CBS Seattle) — A man suspected of burglarizing a bikini barista stand in Pierce County died while trying to flee from police, according to KIRO TV.

Deputies tell KIRO the man burglarized the stand in the 13900 block of Pacific Avenue South east of Lakewood early Tuesday morning. Authorities spotted the suspect at that location and began chasing him. The suspect drove off in a car and was swerving to avoid hitting another car when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole, KIRO reported.

The suspect has not been identified.
