Western Wash. Raids Net 8 Drug Dealing Arrests

SEATTLE (AP) — The U.S. Attorney’s office in Seattle says federal agents conducted several raids across Western Washington on Wednesday, netting eight arrests from a drug trafficking and selling ring.

The raids conducted by agents from the FBI, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms as well as Seattle police officers happened in Vancouver, Covington, Puyallup, SeaTac, Tukwila, Seattle and Tacoma.

Prosecutors say the ring was involved in trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine from California. They say the ring sold the drugs out of several locations, but primarily from a Mexican restaurant — the Juan Colorado — in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood.

The agents on Wednesday served warrants on homes suspected of being stash houses for the drug money.
