(CBS Seattle/AP) — Seattle police responded to a strange call Tuesday afternoon: a report of an assault on a Chihuahua.
The dog’s owner told police a man in her Ravenna apartment complex spit on her dog from an upper balcony. The woman said she’d had problems with the man before. When officers tried to contact the suspect, no one came to the door of his apartment.
SPD’s website said the dog was not seriously hurt, although it was noted that the dog, “declined to speak with officers.”
