SEATTLE (AP) — With only a few days to go before Halloween, the Seattle bank robber who donned a “scream” mask gets no points for originality.
And police say the suspect didn’t get far.
Detective Renee Witt says the robber implied he had a weapon Friday afternoon, jumped over a counter at a Wells Fargo Bank branch in a Safeway store and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Arriving police quickly set up a containment area and arrested a man located in his nearby vehicle.
