(1090 The Fan) — Seattle Seahawks receiver Sidney Rice tore his ACL on Monday and will miss the remainder of the season, according to the team.
Rice was injured during Monday’s win over the St. Louis Rams.
Rice, who had 231 receiving yards and three touchdowns thus far in the 2013 season, suffered injuries to his knee and head before exiting midway through the second quarter Monday.
The injury to Rice makes receiver Percy Harvin’s pending return even more important. Multiple sources have stated there’s a possibility Harvin will be available for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
