(1090 The Fan) – Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin appeared on CBS Sports Radio’s MOJO Tuesday night and spoke with Chris Moore and Jason La Canfora about his former teammate at Stanford, offensive guard Jonathan Martin.

Martin has been the alleged target of harssment, threats and racial slurs from fellow Miami Dolphins teammate Richie Incognito. The 24-year-old lineman left the team indefinitely last month and remains in Los Angeles with his family where he is receiving counseling for the alleged attacks.

Baldwin was reserved when talking about the Incognito-Martin situation on MOJO, but was later led into a conversation about whether Stanford’s reputation as having a “soft” football program has anything to do with Martin’s situation. Baldwin responded by saying, “Stanford has developed a very physical program. If you don’t believe me, ask any of the PAC-12 teams that played Stanford or teams outside the conference that have played Stanford how physical and how NFL-ready the players are that come out of Stanford. So for that to be said, on top of all the evidence that has come out about what has been said to Jonathan Martin with the text messages and voicemails and whatever else.”
