SEATTLE (AP) — Perris Blackwell scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his Washington debut, and the Huskies pulled away in the second half for a 95-65 win over Division II Central Washington in an exhibition game on Wednesday night.

Blackwell had 13 points in the second half as the Huskies turned a 12-point halftime lead into the expected blowout. Central Washington had a chance to cut the deficit to single digits midway through the second half but missed four consecutive shots. The Huskies then ran off 10 straight points.

Jernard Jarreau scored 17 points, while C.J. Wilcox and Nigel Williams-Goss both added 16 for the Huskies. Washington held a 52-33 rebounding advantage, but made just 23 of 37 free-throw attempts.

One-time Washington commit Mark McLaughlin led the Wildcats with 30 points while Jordan Russell added 11.
