Percy, or no Percy? That is the constant question surrounding week 11 for the Seahawks. Will receiver Percy Harvin finally play his first game in a Seattle uniform this Sunday against his former team, the Minnesota Vikings?
While the club took Harvin off the physically unable to perform list, trainers, and coach Pete Carroll don’t want to rush him into game conditions before his surgically repaired hip is 100 percent.
Harvin was listed as a full participant in today’s practice, and quarterback Russell Wilson is certainly excited to add him to the available weapons.
“I threw a ton with him in the off season before the injury (hip), really popped up. We had a good relationship and I trust what he does, ” said Wilson. “He’s in an out of his breaks really quickly. It’s one of those things where you want to give him the ball as much as you can, but utilize everybody else we have on the field.”
Three players were out of the Thursday Seahawks workout. Corner Brandon Browner (groin), DT Tony McDaniel, (hamstring), and CB Jeremy Lane (thigh).
Pro bowl left tackle Russell Okung is not on the 53 man roster yet, but after a pair of full practices, the team could activate him tomorrow.
