Sex Offender Accused Of Seattle Hospital Attack
SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a rapist who failed to register as a sex offender after his release from prison attacked a woman in a restroom at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Police say the 38-year-old man was strangling the 60-year-old woman in a stall when a friend heard her cries for help and pulled the attacker off. The suspect was held by hospital staff and officers who happened to be in the hospital.
The suspect is a transient who appeared to be intoxicated. He’s jailed for investigation of assault.
