OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Key Washington state lawmakers hope to negotiate an agreement on a transportation revenue package before the end of the year.
Senate leaders have proposed a $12.3 billion transportation revenue plan includes a gas tax increase of 11.5 cents.
The Senate Transportation Committee is taking public comment on the proposed package at a work session Thursday afternoon in Olympia.
