Seattle School Coach Arrested After Students On Trip Found Camera In Room

SEATTLE (AP) — A coach for the private Bush School in Seattle was arrested in British Columbia after students on a ski trip found a video camera in their room.

A spokesman for the Criminal Justice Branch, Neil MacKenzie, says 43-year-old Jason Christopher Paur is held on charges of voyeurism and child pornography.

Paur was arrested Wednesday at the Silver Star ski resort in Vernon, B.C., and is scheduled for a bail hearing Dec. 18.

The Bush School sent a letter to parents saying Paur was a chaperone on the school-sponsored trip.

Two girls found the camera running in their room. Another chaperone called police.

The students returned to Seattle on Wednesday.

The Bush School says Paur has worked at the school since 1996 and has been placed on administrative leave.
