(1090 The Fan) — In case the shutout in New York had you distracted, the Seahawks’ NFC West rivals, The San Francisco 49ers, smothered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 33-14 on Sunday.

The win pushed the Niners to 10-4, but the team still trails Seattle by two games. And with that two game lead over San Francisco, the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers, it appears the NFC’s road to the Super Bowl will go through CenturyLink Field.

49ers linebacker Patrick Willis was on the Doug Gottlieb Show Monday to confirm neither he nor his teammates were fazed by the Seahawks.

“Hopefully we’ll see them again,” he said. “And, hopefully we’ll see them at their place.”
