ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Anchorage police say a drunk driver struck a mother, a child and an infant in a stroller.
Authorities said the accident occurred early Sunday morning. Erica Merrill was arrested after the accident and charged with felony DUI, multiple counts of assault, driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance.
The mother and two children sustained injuries, but authorities said they do not appear to be life threatening. The three victims were part of a larger group that was walking along the side of the road when the accident occurred.
