Lynch Vows To Match NFL Fine Fundraiser And Donate To Charity
(1090 The Fan) — The NFL-imposed fine of $50,000 Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been tagged with may turn out to be a good thing.
A “Go Fund Me” campaign was recently started by a group of Seahawks fans to help pay for Lynch’s fine. Upon hearing the fans’ fundraiser, Lynch posted on his Twitter account Monday that he will match the money that is raised and send it to charity:

Like Kickstarter, the Go Fund Me campaign will be voided if the goal is not met and no donors will be charged.
As of Tuesday morning, fans have raised roughly $10,600.
The fine was handed down to Lynch because NFL players are required to speak with reporters at least twice a week. Lynch made his first appearance in front of a camera on Friday, having politely declined every previous time.
The Seahawks will host the New Orleans Saints in the divisional playoffs Saturday.
