SUTHERLIN, Ore. (AP) — Detectives are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at a cabin west of Sutherlin, Ore.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called late Monday afternoon after a woman found the bodies of Dennis and Linda Black.
Spokesman Dwes Hutson says detectives believe the 60-year-old husband shot his 59-year-old wife and then himself. He says it appears both had been battling serious medical problems.
The investigation remains active.
