SISTERS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police have identified the two men killed in a nearly head-on crash on state Highway 20 west of Sisters in central Oregon.

Authorities say 61-year-old Bruce Sirnio from Salem and 42-year-old Andrew Deverna from Newberg both died in the crash on Friday.

Lt. Steve Mitchell said the westbound Acura SUV driven by a Sirnio for unknown reasons crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with the Toyota pickup driven by Deverna. Both drivers suffered fatal injuries.

41-year-old Wendi Dion from King City, a passenger in the pickup, was taken to a Bend hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for about three hours during the investigation.
