(1090 The Fan) — Gregg Scruggs told the Steve Sandmeyer Show his knee is “feeling great” on Wednesday afternoon.
Scruggs underwent arthroscopic surgery last spring to reconstruct a torn ACL in his right knee — an injury that happened after the 2012 season had ended. Because of the intensive rehabbing regiment, the 23-year-old was forced to miss the entire 2013 season.
However, Scruggs was able to work out with the team and feed off the infectious chemistry beginning in November; he was with them during the playoff run and with them to witness the trouncing Super Bowl XLVII win. The former defensive tackle for the University of Loiusville Cardinals opened up about the atmosphere his teammates created during his rehabbing and how it helped the process move along faster.
