Blind Man Robbed At Seattle ATM, Suspect Sought
SEATTLE (AP) — Police detectives are trying to identify a man who robbed a legally blind man outside a downtown Seattle bank.
Police say the victim was using an ATM outside a Bank of America branch last weekend when the robber grabbed him from behind and demanded money.
The victim handed over hundreds of dollars he had just gotten from the ATM. Police say at that point the robber for some reason gave the victim a cigarette, then fled.
A witness helped the victim flag down an officer, who took a report and gave the victim a ride home.
A surveillance camera captured a photo of the suspect.
