It’s been a bit of a disappointing season for the Washington Huskies basketball team. It appears the only way the Dawgs get to the Big Dance for the first time since 2011 is to win the Pac-12 Tournament, which begins for Washington Wednesday afternoon.
The periodic struggles, however, have helped point guard Nigel Williams-Goss, according to the freshman himself. Despite failing to even earn a spot on The Bubble, Williams-Goss noted on The Steve Sandmeyer Show Monday that “the season’s not over. We’re looking forward to kind of a fresh start. Going into (the conference tournament) everyone’s 0-0.”
The Huskies’ second-leading scorer also talked about the importance of conference games, taking the ball to the basket more often and picking his spots to score. Listen to the entire interview:
