The Seattle Seahawks re-signed Anthony McCoy earlier this week, retaining much-needed depth at the tight end position. McCoy missed all of the 2013 season with a torn Achilles, but is expected to be healthy and ready to go for spring camp.
The 26-year-old joined The Steve Sandmeyer Show Tuesday to talk about his recovery, future goals and what it was like sitting on the sidelines for the year. When asked if he’d be grinning like a Cheshire cat once he returns to the practice field in a few months, McCoy replied “the grin is already here.”
