Hard Landing At Monroe Airport, Pilot OK

MONROE, Wash. (AP) — A fire official says a small, experimental aircraft lost power and made a hard landing Wednesday evening near the Monroe, Wash., airport. The pilot was alone in the plane and is OK.
Monroe Fire Marshal Michael Fitzgerald says the plane came down in a grassy field adjacent to the runway. The plane suffered only minor damage.
